The process of knitting & assembling the bags and then finishing with the application of resin to the bottom for added structure and shine

Citrus Bags

This project was inspired by juicy citrus fruit. Attention was specifically paid to the structure, color, and texture of the fruit by analyzing how it can translate to a knit product. Resin was introduced to the fabric to both provide structure and rigidity where desired as well as to bring out juicier colors and texture.
