Making process

Turning aluminum & acrylic round stock on the lathe. After achieving precise measurements the acrylic is press-fit into the aluminum.

This small container is made from turning acrylic and aluminum on the lathe. The materials were turned to dimension then press fit. The radius cutter was used to achieve the fillet, and no finishing or polishing has been done in order to show the history of the machining and the surface quality.
